Drawn largely from the Tweed Regional Gallery collection, Mirror-view: Artists by Artists presents a selection of portraits, focussing on artists as both the subject and portraitist.

Spanning photography, painting, works on paper and ceramics, the exhibition shares insights of artists as sitters, captured through the mirrored lens of a fellow artist or self-portrait.

Includes collection works by Ken Done, Julie Fragar, Ben Quilty, Monica Rohan, Wendy Sharpe, Greg Weight and more, along with commissioned portraits by Jo-Anne Driessens (Koa-Kuku Yalanji) of First Nations artists featured in the Gallery’s collection including Dr Bronwyn Bancroft AM (Bundjalung), Penny Evans (K/Gamilaroi), Michael Philp (Minjungbal-Bundjalung) and Karla Dickens (Wiradjuri).
